l1501 timing cover parts number's in reference to serial number

I need some help with the timing cover parts numbers for my l1501. Kubota lists 2 part numbers based on the serial number for the l175 and l185 tractors. Of course i can't give the local dealer the serial number or else i'll lose my local supplier for the parts. I just need the kubota parts numbers and the serial numbers next to them. Under this number over that number.

Or some recommendations of some really kick a## liquid gasket maker ;-) haven't had good luck with black rtv for timing covers or oil pans. Work on jd and deutz engines daily. I just call the dealer and have them send me the parts.

It called a gear case, what part are you looking for? Cover or gasket or other?
Even though there is several covers listed they all renumber or update to the same #, that is very common in Kubota parts.
So the three gear case covers are 15221-04022, 15221-04020, 15221-04023, all use New # 15221-04023.

Tell me the part or parts you need and I should be able to tell you the new #'s.

I should have paid a little more attention to the details the gear case cover is fine. Looking for the part numbers for the crank shaft lip seal and the gasket for the gear case cover. I gotta pull the cover to replace a cam shaft plug. I'm trying to get what i need ahead of time so i can put it right back together. This is all depending if it's the front one. If it's the back one, then i'll order the head gasket and what ever else i'll need later. I already have the plugs ordered. Found it in the oil pan when i dropped it to check the oil pump screen. I have one question while i have your attention is the crank shaft sleaved where the lip seal rides?

These should be the right parts for you:
The 175 and 185 both list the same part #'s
The part that the seal rides on is called a collar, and there is an O-Ring behind it to seal the inside of it.

So now i got another question both books listed two part numbers for the crank case gasket depending on where the serial numbers ended and began. Is one for a 2wd and the other for a 4wd? Or is both part numbers for the same gasket? Not trying to be a pita, just don't want to end up buying the gasket twice thanks again for the info

The gaskets are all just different revision #'s.
I have given you all the updated part #'s that I could find.
Think of it this way, most of the Kubota Parts are backwards compatible up till they completely change models.

And no 2wd and 4wd have nothing to do with these parts, it's the motor not the drive train.

Just remember to double check all the parts compared to the old ones before install.

I learned my lesson bout checking parts a long time ago deutz had a fuel shut down selonoid with same part number and 3 different mounting brackets for said part number. Nothing like driving 3 hours for a service call in the middle of the night and realizing you got the wrong one.
