L1500 Transmission oil question

Hi guys, first post on the forum.
I recently bought a L1500. Thought i would give it a service before i put it to use, glad i did when i looked at the transmission oil strainer!

So i know i need to use a 80w90 oil for the trans/hyd. I purchased 20ltrs today but now realised i need around 23ltrs. I do have 5ltrs of 80w90 bought some time ago. The oil i have is the same brand and is still a mineral oil, do you think i would be ok mixing a few ltrs of the same brand 80w90 with it as i already have 5ltrs

Yea you can mix those 2 in that tractor with no issue.

How many transmission fluid drain plugs are and where?
I found one buttom of left foot bracket. and two on the each axle house.

glad to see your thread
I bought same tractor 10days ago.
It is runs good except reverse function and steering.

so having so much questions on this little tractor same as you.
I am replacing reverse gear and complete steering assembly in a month.
Hope we can share some information each other.

There is either 2 or three, I'm not really sure.
Look in the center of the transmission, if there is a third that is where it will be.
The one that is on the side of the transmission by the clutch pedal is not a drain plug but a level fill plug.

There are at least two on the bottom of the transmission and one on each axle (may have 2 each axle).

The axle are lower so will drain the last few quarts of fluid so do both sides.

There is a plug on the side of the transmission near the clutch pedal that is the correct level to fill to. ( as stated above)
