When I put the key in the key switch nothing happens. It usually buzzes and the instrument panel lights up but nothing now. I replaced battery that didn't work. I took the ground wire that is connected the the frame and cleaned it still nothing. Could it be the alternator?

Sounds like a safety switch issue. Have you tried to cross the start terminal with the battery lug on the starter to see if will crank?

I had a similar issue with my 3130. There can be many issues. 1. Starter relay, 2. Safety switch under seat, 3. fuse box, 4. ignition. 5. battery, but you changed that already. For me, it turned out to be the starter relay on the far right side behind dash cover. I am dealing with a similar issue on my L48 now too. Good luck

If I'm understanding you right.
It was working fine then just went dead, now you get no indication of power at all, right?

Do you have a test light?
If you do clip one side to the battery pos and then touch the frame/body/engine, light should light.
Now go to the starter and clip to the large stud that the battery wire connects to, then touch the starter case, light should light.
Now look at the large stud and you will see another wire attached, follow it till you find a fuse check that fuse.
check back after that.
And No, a bad alternator will not cause your completely dead issue with a new battery. ;)
