Kubota ZL1-275

Hello everyone!
Hi, I have the above tractor and am looking to find information on it to ensure I get the right manuals and parts. From what I was able to find, it seems like all the information for the L1-275 is accurate for this, but I wanted to get some more verification.

I'm doing a full rebuild on this with my daughter and want to start it off on the right foot. Really looking forward to any assistance you can provide me and am really excited to be a part of this community!

Well that "right manuals" is going to be near to impossible, as I've yet to come across any legitimate manuals for the L1 Sunshine models.

Any website that says they have the manual is almost assuredly a scam.

You can glean information off of other manuals from other tractors or the same era, L2250, L2850, L2950 are some close models, but they are not the same.

Now as far as parts go, the information is again really hard to come by.
Kubota dealers will not be able to help you out as they are contractually obligated to not sell you parts.

If you have specific issues or questions present them and with the mass of members most of us have run into similar issues and should be able to help out.

Thanks! Already helping a bunch! At this point im trying to cross reference the info to get a rebuild kit and a book for the motor. Apparently a previos owner had done a poor rebuild and it spun a bearing. It changed hands again, got torn apart and now i have it and im trying to piece the puzzle back together.

I have run some tests and it will benefit from a sleeve and rebuild, but want to make sure im heading towards the right kit and manual.

Having trouble finding the engine stamp on mine to match it with a north american equivalent.

Now to help with is...
On the block right side facing up just outside the injection pump is where the stamped numbers will be.

Second option will be right side on the rear side of the block behind the hydraulic pump will be a cast CC number.

It should have a D1462 in it.
If you can give me a picture of the top of the engine I can set you up with the right manual for the engine.
As I'm not sure if that is a DI (direct Injection) or an IDI (Indirect Injection)

Sorry Ive been kind of a ghost this week. Im still working through all of this virus stuff and its been crazy. I haven't even been able to step foot in the garage and start chewing on this project!!

Ill post some pics of what I come up with since I found some stampings on the block but they aren't matching up with anything we have already talked about.

Also, Its been torn down all the way to the block itself so most everything is off of it. I will have to dig around the parts bin and see what is there. Im not going to lie, I will be showing my diesel ignorance a little on this (rebuilt a ton of gas engines and transmissions, this is my first diesel. Luckily my grandfather was a machinist and has done this before so he has been giving me the on the ground assist)

Ill make it a point today when I get home from work to get some shots of what Im looking at. Again, You have all been great and Im looking forward to this journey even more with all of your help!

Look right here for a number stamped in, the CC cast number is just above the hydraulic pump on the side of the block.

Any pictures of the injectors or the head?
