Not to beat the dead horse of inventory, but for years I spent a significant amount of time to find tools when I wanted to do something.
I'm not a youngster, and had accumulated a lot of stuff over the years.
When I bought a simple HF tool box, I was surprised what I had for sockets. I have added some metric here and there, but my grandfather's 60-70 year old S-K set had a great start for 1/2" drive stuff. 98% of my work can be done with something 1 1/4" or metric equivalent and smaller.
