Kubota tiller not spinning

No it won't spin by hand

Carefully put channel locks on it and try turning the shaft on the gear box. The tiller has to be up and then see if it turns

Looks like you need to start cleaning parts. You have a bearing that has given up the ghost.

Pull the snap ring off and the gear and you'll see where the parts used to be located!

You sir were 100% correct. The bearing behind the gear that drives the chain exploded...in for repair now!
