Nothing good is cheap. Nothing cheap is good.
Yamabond, Permatex and Threebond are all similar. In price as well as performance.

I have found several that are similar but not as good. The other one that is really good is John Deere's they all seem to be close to $20 a tube. Regular silicone is in the seven or $8 range now

some of the older manuals suggested using Threebond 1211 on some of the joints for Kubota equipment. 1211 isn't cheap either but it's good stuff. Nothing from Threebond is cheap, but I've yet to use some that was junk. There are a lot of different kinds. Sometimes the manuals will say to use "kubota" brand, or Threebond equivalent and they'll give you the number sometimes.
