I have a kubota rtv alternator on my d600 and was wondering if the T connector we necessary for charging the battery or can i just run 1 wire from the alternator to the battery for charging? I tested the alternator and it isn't charging at all with just the one wire. Is it suppose to be up around 12v or 13v?

You need to run a wire to the "IG" terminal on the alternator that is turned on and of with the ignition switch. they are not "self exciting" alternators

Ok so I will order up a plug then. So one wire goes to the key or do both?

Just one wire required to make the alternator work. The other teminal would go to a charge light.

I got the plug yesterday and hooked up the one wire like you said and works great! Thanks!
