I would opt for a diesel powered rtv.. the 500 has a 2 cylinder fuel injected gas engine. Not very easy to work on and they dont hold there value like a diesel

The local airport operator near me uses one for a ramp-vehicle and loves it. Says it’s easy to maintain ..... almost never needs anything but gas and oil changes. He’s had it for years and it has led a rough life in all kinds of weather pulling/towing small airplanes around and racing to the fuel pumps to service larger aircraft.

Had one for three years now. My wife loves it for running around our 75 ac. If you have any hills you might want to try it out first. Everything here is a side hill and it will not go up in high gear, even empty. We use it to run to the mail box, 1/2 mile down like a ski jump...Other than lack of HP it is great, no problems at all.

Have no experience with the Kubota UTV's. Really wanted a diesel one, but settled for Kawasaki 610 Mule. For our use the gasser made better sense. Only have about 5 acres. Lots of engine start/stop with yard work, moving stuff between garages, etc. Its no speed demon, but one tough little machine. Besides, any more than 20 mph it will bounce your BB's off.
Retro fitted it for garden tractor size battery for economics. Those ATV batteries are not cheap and only last 2-3 years. The garden battery is going on 5 years now. Plus I use a tank sprayer, so having that reserve power is nice.

I was also considering a Kubota diesel utv but found a 2013 Husqvarna 4421 huv with 68 original hours for half the price of a used diesel with 2000 hours..

Its made by club car and has a aluminum frame, hydraulic dump bed, 4x4 and a carburetored 23 hp kawasaki engine..

I had 2 gas gators that I spent more time fixing then using and then found a really rough older Husqvarna utv and after selling them all bought the one I have now.. just passed 90 hours with no issues.. and it looks and feels and runs like new
