Kubota r400 transmission

Hi, i am looking for some info about the old kubota r400 mini wheel loaders. Does any one know if it is a kubota made machine or made by another manufactuer, like tcm or mitsubishi, komatsu?

I am in the process of rebuilding the transmission and parts are starting to be discontinued

was told long ago as it was their first go at these units,the trans were made by allison. also heard made in house but i doubt it if you ever take one apart.best advice trade it in they dont make too much of anything for them anymore.and if you find a part in europe where they were popular or ebay they want an arm and a leg.rear axles were endemic of exploding...case was so thin and guys would dig without outriggers down and they crack and blow apart. give it a good once over before you get too deep may have other issues waiting to surface.
