Kubota MX Series Air Ride Seat?

Hey guys. Bought an MX6000 earlier this year. My only complaint is just how uncomfortable the factory seat is. My previous tractors were M7060 and L4760. My questions is...I'm considering upgrading to the air ride seat from Kubota. Has anyone installed this seat in the MX series tractor? Is it the cloth comfort type seat or is it still the rubber foam type seat I currently have in the tractor now? If you have the air ride seat, could you post a photo of what the seat looks like? Thanks for any help or advice.

Cloth (l6026) I just got one. Ill take some pictures of the seat when I get home. It does not swivel or have stationary pto unless you get harness l2609. Has adj armrests, and seat back riser. It is the same as the grammar/km136 black matrix cloth. It does have special risers for the seat base.

l6023 is the same seat in vinyl.

I'm interested in buying the same seat that you installed. Is this seat a direct seat? I realize I have to remove the complete seat assembly. do I have to make any adapters to mount the seat? I'm particularly interested in the vinyl because mine is a non-cab tractor and might be exposed to weather at times. thank you for any advice you can give me.

Yes direct bolt on. Brackets and harness is included. The part numbers are for a cloth for cab and vinyl for open station. No problems to instal other than weight. The open would be easier than a cab.

I had over 100 hours in the standard seat in the MX6000 open station before I sold it and it was a much nicer ride than the standard seat in the BX25 that I had for five years. I have close to 100 hours in the MX6000 cab model with the air ride seat, and for sure it's an upgrade over the standard seat, but one was vinyl and this one is cloth so it's not really an apples to apples comparison. The cloth seat is softer and has more give to it.

I will say though, the ride in the M6060 with the standard cloth seat is WAY better than the ride in the MX6000 with the cloth air ride seat. I bought the air ride pedestal for the M6060 seat recently at dealer cost so it will be interesting to see if it makes the ride even more comfortable. My point is that the tractor model has a much bigger influence over ride comfort than the type of seat, and it's likely that the difference between cloth and vinyl might be greater than the difference between the seat suspension system. I only base that off a fair number of hours in a BX, two MXs and an M so admittedly the data set is small.

Interesting. I guess I don’t know what I’m missing. After upgrading my old tractor to a MX6000 over a year ago, I thought the standard seat with armrests was the peak of luxury. The spring action really feels comfortable to me. I guess I shouldn’t sit in a tractor with an air ride seat so I don’t get any more expensive ideas.
