This is my very first post on this forum. I'm 64, semi-retired, in great health, just bought 2.75 acres with a 2000sq ft new home. I am looking to buy a small front loader (hopefully with a backhoe) to maintain a long gravel driveway, re-make the large back yard and clear some brush. I also want to build a large shop. I'm fairly convinced buying a used Kubota would be in my best interest. I'm trying to learn what previous models Kubota offered (years, size, HP & other specs). I thought I had found such a database after finding a reference on here to "Kubota On Demand", but can't find the file. Can someone direct me to where (or explain how) I can learn if someone has a B2200 or BX250 (forgive me if those don't exist) exactly what kind of tractor that is - before pursuing to purchase?

Appreciate the guidance & look forward to learning a lot on this forum. BTW, I'm hoping I can find such a tractor in the $5-10K range. I don't mind traveling or even paying to have it transported - done this several times with the classic cars I've owned and understand that prices in other parts of the country can be different from my own (Seattle).

The official Kubota website has a lot of information including starting prices and "deals" available on new tractors. The site is annoying to use because key information about the new engines is not laid out the same from one model to the next. A lot of detail doesn't come up when you click on the model you are interested in, but can be found in the last couple of pages of the e-brochure "view e-brochure" which is on a tab at the top of the page after you pick a model.

I found yesterday a discrepancy between the engine listed on the first page for the 3560, my tractor, and what is on the ebrochure for the entire 60 series. My first guess is they have decided to change the engine in the 2015 models, I emailed to ask, but no reply yet.

Edit: heard back from Kubota, the discrepancy is a cut and paste error on their part. Until they get it fixed the data from the 60 series L tractors is not right.

Bottom line, the year AND the model number may matter as to what you are getting.

Thank you guys for responding with the helpful suggestions/links. I'm on it :)

The weather has been great - the new property/house purchase is about to close and I'm eager to get started playing....err, working.

Do others have issues with their significant other wondering why so much time is spent in front of the computer. So much good reading on this site.
