Kubota LX4020 New Two Tone Model

Just took delivery of my Kubota LX4020 this week. First thing I notices was the loader paint color was different than the tractor paint color. Did some digging and the loader is the same color as my other Kubota tractor. The tractor is a much deeper orange. Has Kubota introduced another color of orange paint. Sure is strange to have a tractor with a lighter color loader.

There are different colors of Kubota orange, but my guess is the loader is faded from waiting for the tractor. However, if it's a new model loader, maybe not.

I'd reach out to the dealer to see what they say.

Not faded. Removed some straps on the loader and the color was the same under the straps.

50% chance the dealer says “they are all like that” or “we didn’t notice any difference”.

My guess is it has something to do with the LX4020 being a new model. Don’t know this for sure, but perhaps the loader also fits an older model and/or and the loader was manufactured and painted before the change to the “new” color?

You might be able to check by asking for a can of paint for the LX4020 and for a can for the previous model. See if the paint colors are the same. But this presumes the dealer doesn’t just say whatever color they happen to have on hand is the correct color.

What is the model number of the loader? I believe the new LX's have a new loader model which I assume would be the same color as the tractor.

The loader is a Model LA545. It only fits the Kubota LX4020 and LX3520

I haven't noticed a difference in the color between the LX4020 and LA545, on mine anyways...
Maybe there are some mixed batches of paint lots or something that others are getting.
