I'm comparing the LX3310 with the JD 2032r. Anyone know why the Kubota weighs 500 lbs less than the JD?

Where are you looking? My guess is that they are close to the same weight if they are configured the same.

Because they’re meant to do landscaping type tasks, if you want something around same weight as 2032R then look up the L3301, that tractor is meant for more field work. Kubota gives you the option (BX, B, and LX) for a lighter weight setup if you want to do a lot of work on lawns which I appreciate, as my tractor spends a lot of time driving on my turf. If you want something with more weight look at L.

Thanks for your replies. I found the weight comparison on Kubota's website where they were directly comparing the tractor weights of the Kubota LX3310 and JD 2032R. It looks like Tim the tractor guy is going to be making videos comparing the two tractors soon.

So in my case, I viewed extra weight as a plus in moving up to the L vs the B/LX as my focus was on the loader/BH. I decided to forgo any all-in-one lawn duties & keep my smaller old ford with 60mmm going (or replace down the road with ZT).
