Kubota L3010 Part Identification

This part fell off my neighbors Kubota L3010. Can anyone identify where it goes. The part is 2 3/4 inches long, 2 inches wide and open at one end.

That is the cover for the lower PTO shaft. If you look under the machine you will see a splined shaft . Should take a 8MM X 1.25 thread pitch X 25MM bolt to hold it on.
