Recently purchaced a used L2900 with loader and power beyond rear hydraulics. I just put a used 7' John deere backhoe on it that I've seen work fine on a JD. Hooked it up to the power beyond, made sure I turned the slotted screw on the valve to open and the backhoe will move but has no power won't even dig. Tractor runs great and loader has plenty of power. Hyd fluid, screen, and filter have all been changed, no change. Someone told me it because JD uses different hyd pressures I don't think thats true but I'm new to this. Any ideas would be appreitiated.

Thank you for the reply I guess the most straight forward way to make it work is a separate reservoir and a pto pump. Would there be a way to plumb the backhoe valve system to make it work off the tractor

What is the model of the BH, that would help to determine if it's a closed or open system.

If it's a closed system your not going to be able to run it off of kubota's system and to make a closed system loop off of the PTO is not going to be cheap or easy as it involves more than just the pump.

Depending on the model you might be able to change a part in the valving to make it work open center, or worst case scenario your going to have to change the valves. :(

Here is a suggestion switch your your lines at the tractor. I have a L 3301 and I use my model 7 backhoe on it. But for some reason on my rear remotes the lines have to be in a certain order or they won't work on any of my hyd run attachments. On any other trac I have owned the lines would work either way but if they were hooked backwards the hyds to the implement would work backwards. On the Kubota if not hooked in a certain way they won't work at all
