I have a new L7291 rear remote valve base kit and first lever kit. Bought it because I was getting a L2502 but ended up keeping my L2501. Sells for $880 on messicks web site. Asking $600 for it.

Just curious. Have you verified this wont work on your L2501?

I think it would work fine on the L2501, all the part numbers are the same except the lever and guide, but I already have the remotes on my L2501. I held the guide up my tractor and all the holes line up, the lever is longer to clear the seat on the 02 series.

Thanks. I figured as much. I see they changed the slots in the guide which I imagine explains the lever change or vice versa.
