One of mine had rubbed a hole in a line about where you are describing it, so yes it can happen and when it does sometimes it doesn't even leak. Best bet pull it off and check for holes or cracks.
If you pull the cap and hear a sucking sound from in there that would tell me you have the fluid too low. But it would have to be really low as it draws from a ways down in the case, just double check the level. Your probably just hearing an echo in the case.

Well I still havn't got around to pull that tube, I did however start the tractor and the loader worked for some reason which i just lifted it a couple of feet of the ground to move the tractor on the concret in front of my gaurge, shut her off and looked at the sight glass to find it showing allmost no fluid and the was no signs of a leak under the tractor, im starting to wonder if when it was in the shop and the hydrolic pump beeing out they didnt account for the fluid it would take for the loader, im going to add more fluid and go from there before i do anything else.
