I got a L1701 that i tried to order the brake links for, I got one which was correct but the one without the reverse threads was about an 1 1/2" longer than what was on there. I ordered from the L185 parts manual and it shows that one weighs more than the other, so i don't think that part had been miss labeled, but i think this is one of those differences in the 185/1701. Does anyone know where or who can look up and get this link from?

If it is "longer" can you just shorten it, better than being short
If need-be cut additional threads with a die, it is not the reverse one?
To be honest I have not heard of a L1701 tractor, do you mean L1501?
A L1701, I think is a skid steer?
