Hi everyone, I’m after a little advice please. My digger is very remote (off shore island) so I don’t have access to a mechanic as such.
The hydraulics loose pressure when the machines turned off. By that I mean if I lift the digger off the floor with the bucket and blade, turn the machine off and go back after 15 min the diggers back on the ground. Equally if turn the machine off with the bucket off the deck, or the blade the same things happen.

No visible leaks.
I’m hoping it’s something like a one way valve that you can help guilds me on.
Thanks in advance.

Tis the nature of the spool valves.....
It would be very ,very expensive to modify/add 'pilot operated solenoid valves',though it can be done.
Far easier to just lower the bucket to the ground !
If away for a long time, many will retract the rams into the cylinders to limit rusting from rain water.
