Back in March I severely damaged my SSQA plate. Total replacement cost was $1500. My cost was $250 with KTAC insurance.

As previously mentioned when comparing costs make sure you are comparing apples to apples. My wife's family has 60 acres of land that I use my tractor to help maintain. KTAC covers my equipment anywhere I am using it and includes me towing the tractor on its trailer. I checked with my agent at Farm bureau Insurance and their policies only pay out when the tractor is operated on my property.

Yes you can get much cheaper rates through your homeowners insurance policy but it will only cover it on your property and will have more limitations than KTAC. I use my homeowners because my tractor stays on my property and saves a lot of money.
