Really nothing new and not restricted to Kubota, we just paid cash for our last three tractors for the best price, others find keeping their money invested elsewhere worked better for them.

Somewhere there may be a true zero percent interest rate, I just haven't seen it. We ran into he same thing several years ago when we bought our John Deere.

As far as the additional fee for insurance when you finance it through KCC, that is just them covering themselves incase of a loss or damage.

Many (not all) insurance companies will not pay a third party for your loss and unlike car insurance paying the lien (title) holder there is no lien on the tractor. My home owners deductible in $1K and the deductable for the tractor is $250 through KCC. I will certainly use it first.

But in a sense you are paying Kubota to finance it....

I financed through my local Kubota Dealer also. He gave me the option on the insurance, to go through the dealership or provide coverage through my homeowner's policy. I chose to go through the dealership, since the use of my tractor was going to be used on church property for flag football fields maintenance and bush hogging of a 15 acre track. The homeowners policy doesn't cover anything on other people's property. My opinion is for truefire to go back to his dealer and ask more questions about the coverage of the insurance and the exact cost for the term of his loan. GOOD LUCK & BE PREPARED!!!

I just looked at my sales copy. There is a "Kubota fee" of $80. Doesn't say what it's for. Go buy a car or truck, there will be delivery, destination, setup, etc. fees and charges tacked on.

So I still don't see anything so unusual about the fees or insurance charges, or anything else on my contract. Even though they are there.

The price we negotiated is what the total value of the loan is on mine. We did have to their insurance since mine wont cover a tractor. However their insurance is pretty darn good for the price.

I got 0% financing for five years on my new L 3800, have my own insurance, and the only other charges were $100. Kubota document fee, and $30. Vehicle filing fee. They delivered 65 miles to my home with tee shirt, hat, 4 touch up cans of paint, and no charge for loading rear tires... painless transaction, sweet tractor.

Pretty much any time you look at buying things like tractors, equipment, cars trucks etc, the first thing say when you ask for the price is, "are you financing or is it cash." That way they know which price to give you.

Good morning orange tractor owners. (Not including myself yet) Just to keep you up to date on the false advertisement that I posted last week. I have been in contact with a few reps and then all of a sudden I get the big guy in Kubota Canada on the phone. After a small discussion he does tell me that I am correct and also tells me that Kubota Canada is not going to lose my business over this "NO COST FINANCING". So the price the dealer and I agreed to back a few weeks ago was $22000 plus $1000 because I am financing it through Kubota and $200 admin fee for paper work. Total price 23200. After going home and on the computer I see under the "0% for 60 months" ad one of the lines reads "NO COST FINANCING" After bringing this up with the dealer he tells me they will drop the $200 admin fee and I feel this is not good enough so I go higher up. After many phone calls Kubota tells me your correct and we are taking that line off the web site and we will make sure you get the price that should be given to you. So the dealer calls me yesterday and offers me another $300 off the price and tells me thank you very much for bringing the double standard line we had on site and it has been taken off. They still want to charge me $700 for financing this tractor through Kubota Canada and I will be going in today to give up my deal with Kubota to show they don't have the manures to suck up the cost of one deal and make things correct as I was the one that brought this mistake forward to them. Best of Luck with your Orange Tractors wish I could of owned one but Just cannot bring myself to pay for any of the financing when they admitted they done wrong but are willing to give me some off but not all of it. If the money is that important to this big company then they can keep the tractor. Cheers Rodney

Well I am very glad to say that Kubota came through and sold me the tractor minus the finance fees. I am a very happy camper and glad to see that Kubota stands behind there word. Thank again for your replies and hope to be able to talk to you OT owners in the next few weeks.

Glad to see you held them to the advertisement and glad to see they held to their advertising.

It's times like these that you can see what the two companies involved in this are made of. No doubt this dealer will not be making this mistake again.
