kubota engine blocks (( need help))))

does anyone know what the early models of kubota engine blocks are made of ? are they cast steel .? or are they cast iron ?...i have a kubota L225DT,and im wanting to know,does anyone know what other kubota engines will interchange with the model of tractor i have ?,could i get a another complete engine to the front drive systems from another tractor model to bolt up to my existing bell housing of this tractor !? more questions>,,,it has a loader and is there any other way to bolt the loader to the tractor to reinforce the loader to take off the strain of the front differtial ? Tell us more about the help that you need. I don't think that you'll find a lot of options here --- you pretty much need to use what you have or an identical replacement. This isn't a Chevy 350.

As far as I know all engine blocks are cast iron. Have never heard of any that are cast steel. I have run across other stuff that used cast steel, but never engine blocks?

Kubota does use a very high quality cast iron.
