I just picked up a d600 kubota for my golf cart engine swap. Im trying to think of what clutch to use and gearing for the rear end. Anyone know what the idle rpm is? Does 1000 sound right at idle? Also what are max rpms?
Thanks in advance!

You would have to know a lot more info about what the engine was used in before.
Engines can be set for up for different RPM uses, Example: If it was a used as a Refer unit or a gen unit it could have the RPM's limited down to 1800 RPM.
If it was used in a tractor, it could be setup for 3200 RPM's.

Low RPM should be in the 800 RPM range and 3200 high RPM.
