Hey guys I’m very new to this group just trying to decide if a RCK54PBX23 mower deck is the same as RCK54BX23 mower and if it will fit my BX1880

Hmm...maybe check an online parts site to see what parts ARE different ?
I suspect the decks are the same but the mounting 'parts' aren't ??

Never understood why some manufacturers make things sooo difficult.

I thought a 60" wouldn't fit on a BX1880 due to wheel clearances or something like that. did I imagine it?

NO a 60" will NOT FIT a BX1880!
Only these 2 decks will fit it

I've got a 54" mower on a TG 1860D and it easily mows what gets under it, and it's an old timer!

So what you are saying is that I muddied the water by asking about a BX23S which is a series 80 tractor? I thought that all Series 80 tractors used the same mowing decks. Is this true or not?

I have the 54" on my BX1880 and it does a good job on our 5 acres. I'm sure a zero turn would give a better cut and be a little quicker, but I needed the tractor for the loader and 3-point attachments so I don't mind the additional seat time. I do have to admit when the grass gets a bit too tall it can bog a little as the cuttings get caught up in the chute, just slow down let it clear and right back at it. FYI I am running gator blades.

Yes I am saying that you confused some, as no, not all tractors of the same series use the same implements.
