Does anybody happen to have a replacement instrument cluster for the Kubota BX? I've had no success repairing mine without a schematic and I'm not looking to pay $400 for a new one.

curious as to what's wrong/ what's right with it
which 'BX' ?
I have a BX23S.... K287162502 ... is over $700 CDN FYI.

also in 'electrical' sub forum, #13 post has clear wiring diagram !

I have a BX1870. The entire cluster went out awhile back, except for the turn signal indicators. I've opened it up and found a fair amount of surface corrosion, but nothing crazy. I repaired a few traces and a couple vias with no change. I know they're terrible with their water sealing and I think there may have even been a recall on them. I couldn't find a schematic anywhere, so I'll have to see if that diagram helps.

What model is your BX????????
The different series BX have different clusters.

Finding used BX clusters from the 50 series and newer that still work is hard. They've had some recalls and come out with newer versions but hasn't really improved much. There are 2 different versions thatll work on the 50 60 and 70 series but they also have different connectors. Technically the 80 series will work also but takes some fab work and making your own connector

Years ago when I had my BX25D in for some service, they replaced mine under warranty because of moisture inside the display…they put a label on with the hours at that time. Now years later, the display is filled with moisture again but still works.🤔

Please post a few good pictures ,both sides of course.Having designed/built PCBs for decades, my eyes might see something your have missed. The usual suspect areas are between traces at connectors, under DIP packages, Zebra connectors.
When powered does the LCD function ? gauges 'self test' ?

I'll get some pictures next week. I've rebuilt the damaged traces that I can find, and reflowed the ICs. Nothing functions except for the turn signal LEDs. I'm getting various voltages at the wiring harness, but without a schematic, I don't know what voltages should be where. I've checked for heat with a thermal cam, but nothing seems apparent.

Without the model number of your tractor, you are unlikely to get a schematic.

It'll be a 'custom' chip, preprogrammed specifically for that 'configuration' of sensors and operating conditions. so 'CPU' won't be 'off the shelf'.

Should be able to do several 'on the bench tests' though.
both fuel and temp are analog inputs, so +12 should 'full scale' the gauge
+12 on back light pin, should 'back light' the dash
grounding oil pressure ,should turn off oil press LED...

A good clear picture of the 'CPU' chip would be nice.Hopefully has mfr number on it NOT Kubota part number.
See if there's a crystal close to it with 2 caps.
Check for any fuses in the power supply section.
+12 will get converted to +5 or +3 'somewhere', usually a 3 legged device.Kinda obvious
See IF you get +5 anywhere....

This in one of those 'be nice to be there to see' to help, but pictures would be nice for 'remote help' !

While I don't any experience with injector pump rebuilds' I have 10s of 1,000s of hours (6 decades) of design/build electronics, last 3 decades programming PICs to do all sorts of stuff.

Good news for you..NO CANbus port, so really a simple, old skool design/build.
