Hi everyone !
Hopefully a good question here........

IF you are in 4WD while doing snow clearing on a gravel driveway, is it OK to be using the faster speed ( rabbit icon ) setting on the transmission ? ... or is this big BIG NO-NO ? .... I did look at the Kubota manual yesterday and there's no mention of it that I found, so thought I should ask here.

Thanks for any info as usual ! and I appreciate all answers and your time ! :)

Yep. you're fine in high range as long as you have the power.

I did it all the time with my old machine.

The short answer is yes. The long answer depends on conditions. You will not hurt the drive train by using 4wd in high range.

hmm..'snow clearing'... if wet and heavy... low range is better, more torque, less stress on the tractor..
if light and fluffy, go high and fast

I would put it in 2WD if there is sufficient traction just to decrease stress on the driveline. When I go out on the roads for any distance in snow I use 2WD when possible. There are some hills and the tractor climbs them a little easier when not in 4WD. I attribute that to power being wasted on driveline binding.

Use hi range at will. I use hi must of the time when pushing snow. I have had all 4 wheels spinning as fast as they will go on snow and ice pushing or trying to push snow.
