In over 20 yearsI’ve never felt the need for a D ring on the bucket.
I would go with the grab hooks only, as shown in the second link.
There’s a thread here somewhere titled something like "show us your bucket hooks” you might do a search for. It would give you a lot of examples of what people here find useful.

Lets see your weld on bucket hooks
Out in the shop figuring out placement of my weld on hooks forbucket and hoe. Wont be lifting heavy stuff. Nice to pluck engine blocks,transmissions and a hit miss motor out of pickup. Wont be using bolt on hooks. The LA350 pin on bucket probably not the strongest so couple plates welded in a must.

He just gave you the opportunity to make another post. What are you now averaging 6 or 8 a day?
It would have been a good idea to explain that with your pictoors. We just had a
"new member spammer" incident, and I guess maybe we are a bit touchy.
On another note, I'm with Henro on the D rings. I think they will be in the way with that setup.
Unless you expect a regular need to use ropes, I would stick with the grab hooks. If you really think you need the D rings, I'd put them a few inches away from the grab hooks.
If you aren't into fabricating go with Ken's. My BIL (also a "Ken") has some of Ken's BOH's and they are top notch. I would recommend Ken's products to anyone who wants something that is made well and looks good.
I looked at some other ones on Kens site and they seem like they would fit teh particular buck I have better then some in the links.
Kens just came highly recommend from another site I was reading, I think I will just go with the bolt on hook, I may weld one on to the Backhoe bucket as well.

Interesting! First time I’ve seen that done!
Certainly thinking outside the box!
I suppose you could hang a bit of excess chain over the bucket top lip, and that would keep the chain in the hook until you got it under tension.

Ideally install 'inline' with the loader arms 'for best results'.
Might consider a thick flat bar or angle iron 'stiffener' on the inside of the bucket to prevent top lip from curling down.

Hooks inline with the lift arms are best. For center lifting, drape a chain on both hooks and connect in the middle to center the chain.
No,you can't do that. It's WAAAAY too simple! That's not allowed! You need to make it more complicated!
Does a chain slide in the slot okay? Looks a bit tight.
