Greetings!! I have a Kubota BL52C tiller that needs new tines. I have searched the web and found tines that supposedly fit it but the bolt pattern looks completely different. Are there different ways of installing tines on one tiller? The ones that are on there now use 2 consecutive holes and then skip one before the next tine. Also I called the nearest local Kubota parts dealer and he could not even find the BL52C in his computer. Is this model that rare?

Thanks in advance for any insights. I will attempt to post a photo of the tiller w/its existing blades.

Either that tiller has some severely worn blades (no hook on blades) or they are some custom blades for it.
In either case you going to have to do some serious looking to find replacements. :(

Thank you for the responses!! Wolfman, you're not wrong on both counts. These are some seriously worn blades and I'm going to have to match another blade type with the bolt hole pattern. Scdeerslayer...thank you for the links. I'm in touch w/Agrisupply and even they say that their 'bl52c' blades will not work. Ouch. My local Kubota dealer informs me that the 'c' stlyle blades I want are out of stock...which means they have to be ordered from Japan. lol..and I thought blade replacement was the easy part.

On further measuring, even if I skip two holes with each blade and double up on the blade mount w/one bolt the spacing is only 4.25 inches. The Agristore blade is 4.50 inches. Lol which BL52C tiller did I end up with?

I found some blades! They are the C style that I wanted and fit the bolt hole spacing and pattern. Not Kubota, but they will work.
