Kubota Back Hoe BH 4560

I am selling my 1 owner BH L4560 back hoe. The unit was bought new by my father. My dad put less than 20 hours on the backhoe. He recently passed and I took over the ownership of his tractor and attachments. I just dont have use for this incredible piece of machinery. I have all the paper work of purchase and manuals. The back hoe is currently off the tractor and sitting under a canopy. There are no leaks in the cylinders. The seat is like new. Everything functions as new. This is not a cheap unit, it is built like a tank capable of a 10' hole.

This was mounted on an L3710. Will fit other models.

That's some interesting geometry at the boom/dipper connection. Looks to be lots of leverage happening there.

It seems to build pretty strong compared to some of the ones i have seen. Sure would like to find it a good home. Not doing much good sitting under my car port.

From a curiosity standpoint: What year/years did Kubota sell that backhoe design?

It appears that your L4560 BH may be of the 25 year ish vintage.
Messicks shows many parts to be discontinued.
This BH may have been built for Kubota by BRADCO.....which if true, is a good thing.
IMHO you may be storing it for a long while with your $7,000 price tag.

i was hoping to keep the tractor and sell off the back hoe. but if there is not much interest, i will just hook up the back hoe and sell it with the tractor. too nice of piece of equipment to just sit there.

It would certainly seem to be the better idea to sell the tractor with backhoe.

They were for the large frame L models in the 1990's, but there were also other 45xx series backhoes at about the same time so the tractor/backhoe matching seems to vary. According to Tracordata, a 4510 or 4530 backhoe would go on an L355. Don't know if the 4560 subframe would match.

Thank you Grandad4 this info will be of great help in locating a match for my L355. Does any one know or have a front shaft assembly p/n 70050-00818 &p/n 70050-01112 for a L 355ss

if there is any interest in this back hoe, please make an offer. i was hoping to keep my dads tractor and just sell the back hoe.

if no interest at all, i will sell the L3710 and back hoe as a complete unit and replace my dads tractor with something else.

Answering Baldwin Buck - the L3710 with backhoe should sell much more readily than the bh by itself.

When shopping for a used backhoe attachment, many people find the most practical option is to buy a similar tractor with a BH already on it - mostly because of the subframe that's unique to each tractor model series.
