Cleaned the filter and replaced hydraulic fluid but still no movement in FEL nor Slasher lift. Lots of caked on oily gunk around hydraulic pipes and under seat area so degreased and cleaned. Operated tractor for 10 mins to warm up. Visible fluid leak from where shaft from front axle enters transmission ( viewed through window in under body framework). Would this impact hydraulic lift ?

The leak is not your problem.
Start by checking the position of the diverter valve on the hydraulic outlet block. Its located on the right side of the engine. The drirectional valve should be turned clockwise as far as it will go.
If it is correct and the hydraulics are still not working check for oil pressure at the loader valve inlet. That will be the hose connected to port A on the hydraulic outlet block.

I had moved the directional valve to various positions with no result. You mention diverter valve. Same thing?

I mean the round directional valve in the diagram I posted. It MUST be turned clockwise as far as it will go.
If the valve is fully clockwise and the loader still does not work check the inlet pressure by connecting a 3000 PSI pressure gauge to the ĺoader valve inlet supply hose.

The directional valve is pointed out in the diagram in post #2. It is the only thing that you need to be sure is turned into the correct position.
Assume that @TheOldHokie used the two terms for the same thing and reduce your confusion. There is nothing else to turn.
I suggest you get the pressure gauge and adapter to test the pressure as has been suggested above.
