Eric has probably given you the most economic solution. A used factory installed one from someone would be more than what your tractor cost you i'm sure. A new one from Kubota is several thousand dollars more than a used one. With that said, I want one too but the $$$ say no for now. From my feeble mind it occurs to me that purchasing a tractor with a FEL on it is always more cost effective.(Something I rarely do) But, i think that link Eric shared is a good deal though.

I contacted cold water today. They said they only sell parts for front end loaders. You would think a company would make a front end loader for compact tractors. I've seen loaders for small garden tractors but not for mine.

Well that doesn't add up and make sense. Their website says they sell loaders for any make and model tractor and they sell backhoe's as well.

Well it didn't make sense to me either so, I called them. They replied "sure we're still building them. got a couple ready to ship to New York and Calif in a couple days. how can we help you? yada yada"
So... guess they are still making them, backhoes too. Although, they are a little rougher and crude in design.

You are looking for a B211 loader for your tractor, I would take the time to find the one that fits your model of tractor, believe me it's worth it, look at my post of the B219 I rebuilt, $1500 and some TLC and I got myself a "new" loader..........that bolted right on and works perfect!

They sent me an email this morning stated they only sold parts for loaders. I got a second email stating they sold a FEL for my b5100 for $1800 plus $500 for shipping! Just trying to figure out if I want to invest that much $$ for a new loader?

Trying to find one used is like finding teeth on hens. Everybody wants a FEL and those that have one rarely sell one by itself. $2300 is by far the best price I've seen for a FEL and I've been reading about Coldwater online and I do believe I read the exact article Hodge posted. I have seen the occasional tractor being sold on Ebay with what appears to be a loader from Coldwater. I yet to have e-mailed the owner to inquire about the loader and what they thought about it.

fel's are hard to come by. I searched for 6 mths and finally bought a new one from bush hog, $2600. Had it hooked up and working in less than 3 hrs, minus the 2 hour looking for a 90 degree fitting.
