Alright, so i have an opportunity to purchase a Kubota B40C Tiller from a buddy of mine. it's in excellent shape with very little use and is a reasonable price.
My question is, will my B6100HST-e have enough horsepower for this tiller?

That's a match made in heaven. I ran that exact setup for quite sometime. The tiller is not quite 40" wide so almost any smaller tractor will handle it. By the way, that is an awesome tiller. Very well made and tough as nails.

Canuck3,

I have had one of those on the back of my BX2350 for the last 8 years. NO PROBLEMS ! ! I run it at about 2,000 engine rpm, and it will go down about 8 inches into the ground with the skid shoes removed. As for being tough, in our rocky soil here in Missouri, it HAS kicked out rocks as big as your head and just kept going. On a big rock, it will jump around a bit, but just spits it out and says "Is that all you got?". In 8 years, the only repair was for new seals on the tine shaft. I got a bunch of sweet potato vines rapped around it and they made the seals leak. It took about 2 hours to replace them.

I'm sure you will do very well with it.
