Kubota B40

Hi,
my name is Paul, im design Engineer, 29 years old an i live in Kiel, in the north of Germany.....
while i was searching for some infos in the www i found these great page !

I own an Grey market B40, its runnin great and have only 1000 hours done. But i still got some Problems:

which tractor is similar to the B40 ? it looks like Bulltra b1-15 ?

How to find a Manual (i wont pay about 90$)

Gearbox and Hydraulic oil is one ? like John deere Tractors ?

What kind of oil over there ? SAE 80 ?

what kind of engine Oil ? for a small Diesel i will normally use 15 w 40 ...

Welcome to the forum Paul. Your English is fine. Some over here aren't even that good. I use 15W-40 in my diesel engine.

Post some pictures and give us some more specs that you know like how many gears, how many PTO speeds, engine size ( number is cast on the side of the block behind the injection pump) and anything else.
All Kubota's are similar its just nailing down the particulars that can be tough.

The Tractor got:

3 PTO speeds

3 gears forward, 1 Reverse

on the Right side unter the Seat i got 3 levers, the short one ist the 4wd,
the 2 other levers must be fast / Slow group.

i figured out that i got Fast / Slow / VERY slow

Looks like my B1-15.

But the B40 has 18 or 21 PS(HP). Maybe I can help with some manuals...
