Kubota B26 Shutting off randomly while operating

That looks like the paddle switch for rotation to backhoe mode. One thing it does is to defeat the seat presence switch so the PTO will operate when off the tractor. Like for chipper or generator use.

The seat presence switch is directly underneath the seat.

Being loose might have been the problem.

Have had the PTO switch, underneath right side, loosen and stop the tractor.

thank you for explaining it. I already bypassed the seat presence switch.

I tried to tighten it back up but once I did the tractor wouldn’t start at all. I ordered a new sensor. Once it comes in I’m going to install it and see if the old sensor was bad and that’s why someone had loosened it. Worst if it keeps shutting off I’ll just leave the taped sensor as long as the tractor runs without shutting off it’s a win.
