Kubota A1000 generator

I bought a Kubota generator at a auction sale Saturday.( just couldn't resist)
I need new brushes for it and Kubota don't supply parts books for generators and such things to the ag and compact tractor dealers! Frontier equipment have that franchise sewed up here in Alberta! Do any of you know the part # for the brushes or a source for them? Frontier say the brushes are an obsolete part!

eserv I have went to starter and generator (alternator) rebuild shops and crossed some of those over. We have several of those shops in Tennessee. They dont care at all to check for you as long as you buy from them. Just an idea. Worked for me in past. handy

Hi,I have a question for you,have you stripped the genny down and seen the brushes?..the reason I ask is,95% of all gennys I have worked on are brushless.Of the ones with brushes,If you can,t get them then cut some larger ones down or get some custom made.
