Kubota 6950 Brakes Lock up on their own

Ok here is my problem. I am running the tractor pulling an 8 foot box blade. After about 15 minutes of driving (without hitting the brakes at all) the tractor starts to bog down. Pull up the box blade so that it is in the air and go to to step on the brakes and the peddle is rock solid at the top and wont move as if the brakes are being applied.

Any help on what to look at or how to fix this?

Are the brakes actually applied? What do you do to release, reverse up?

Have a look at the brake pedal pivots, check they are well lubricated so the spring easily returns EACH pedal and they are not bouncing and building up pressure. Disconnect the pedal lock between the two pedals and see if it's one or the other doing it or something else. Also check the park brake mechanism isn't accidentally applying.

yes the brakes are applied even though I never stepped on them. To release them I normally shut the tractor off and let it sit for a few hours.

I will look into your ideas to check and get back with what I find this weekend.
