I have seen some posts here talking about the LP 3rd function kit, and getting a replacement parts on amazon for buttons, but I have the oem kit installed on my B2650 and I am missing the small clear cap that goes over the activation switch. The switch itself works fine, the little green led turns on and off but I have to poke my finger and hope to catch the edge of the plastic with my finger nail to use it.
The replacement parts is Kubota PN: 7J056-84152, and being that I am in Canada my dealer quoted me 276$ for the assembly. Can't seem to buy just the cap or even just the switch.

Any suggestions for replacing this or if anyone has some other thoughts. I have looked at the LP parts and the 3rd party options but they don't seem to match the size at least from what I can tell.

My main concern is water or something else getting in there and gumming it up and possibly making it more extensive repair than just a cap

Is there any harm in just leaving it all on all the time?

Probably better if it didn’t get water in there. Could even freeze I suppose. Could you post a picture?

Are these what you are looking for? If not, have you tried Googling “push button switch covers” ?

You can buy NKK switches from Digikey about $30.
it sounds like the 'cap' fell off, those are available. I'd email NKK direct, get two for free.

AT3002BB is NKK number for white 'cap'.....

in stock, $4+-, get it in a day ! buy2 or 3 (same shipping...) best to have a spare !!
I think I will try that cap first - I didn't see mine when it wasn't installed but it look like this is the right part.

I couldn't spend $182 dollars what my local Kubota dealer wanted for what I consider a $4 switch.

I bought this from Amazon (3) 16mm switches for $12.99 - P/N: B0975WXJ3H and took off the square metal on the switch and wired in the Socket Plug knowing an easy replacement in the future. Wiring this switch to my existing wiring harness was eased by melting new solder on the existing soldered wires to reduce that solders melting point. My wires were already short, so I didn't want to cut them.

Here is what I wired mine for the Kubota switch wiring to Replacement switch Wiring.

I slipped heat shrink tubing over each replacement switch wire and then soldered the new switch wire socket in place.

Hope this helps someone.
