Looks like the OEM BL4590 backhoe had a PTO-driven pump. What model backhoe do you have? Do you have a front loader? What model?

If you have a loader you would connect at the power beyond port on the loader valve. If no loader you connect at the hydrsulic outlet block on the right side of the engine.

ARRG!! Saw L2350 and made a bad assumption. No outlet block on that tractor. Do ypu have power steering?

Unlike other models in this series there is no block to tie into.
There was an add on adapter block that has long been obsolete.
There is a second issue with this setup as that the relief valve is after it goes to the three point so any tie in before it on the pump lines can have bad results on the pump seals if the BH controls dead head at all.

If you have factory loader attached you will have the adapter then things get much easier.

If the hoe does not have an inlet relief a relief valve on the delivery line is easy an cheao solution.

Will the old style diverter block fit the PS outlet?

It's a unique block for that model, sadly the one's you and torch made would not work on this one.

I was not talking about that one. I was talkimg about the left side under the seat. Thats after the relief.

As for the one you highlightef all I would need is a few easily measured dimensions.

On this model I don't find the option for a tap at that location.
I do know a lot of other models there was a tap point there.
All of the tapping blocks bolted to the front of the cylinder.

Just because Kubota didnt do it does not mean you cant make one. Take #100 off and replace it with a custom block. Three bolts and two or posdibly three ports.

Actually, K did do it. It's the block needed for the LB400 loader.

Of course, if Mr Hutton has a loader, it's a moot point.

Again, thats not the location I was talking about. If Mr Hutton has a loader its trivial. I f not the alternatives are not all that difficult. In increasing order of difficulty:
  1. Cut the center out of the pipe and install tube fittings on the the two segments that remain on the tractor. Instant hydrsulic tap.
  2. Same as 1 but add an inline pressure relief to the end of the pump segment.
  3. Fabricate a block as used on the LB400 loader.
  4. Same as 3 but include an in line relief ahead of the hoe.
  5. Fabricate a custom block to replace the under seat cover. Uses the tractors existing relief.
I have the equipment to readily do all of those and personally I would opt for #2. Its simple and mimics Kubotas current design practice.

No power steering. Wondering about tapping into some block under seat where pressure line goes in. I can fabricate something but I just need to know where to tap in. I think built in pressure relief should take care of dead heading the pump regardless where. Tap in…Your thoughts and thank you

FYI: A BH on a tractor without a loader puts a huge strain on the connection from the motor to the clutch housing, and is know to break them in half!

The block is rather simple, it replaces the cap over the in line fitting and the cylinder.
it redirects the in to a out port and the out from the add on back to the cylinder.

Block goes in place of this block

Pressure relief built into what? If its in the backhoe valve yes. If its the one in the three point cover of tje tractor no.

You only need a third hose for tank return if the backhoe valve has power beyond

There is a lot about your hoe and how you are going to hook it up that remains a mystery. Hope you are guessing correctly

It’s a factory Kubota backhoe with in and out that came off of a small B series Kubota. I fabricate a 3 point hitch for these that works well. I used the last one on my Kubota 3010 with aux hookups. I sold the little hoe and bought another one I liked it so well. My son-in-law wants this one to use on the L2350 so that’s what I’m gonna do somehow. I still feel that if I tap into the main pump line before the factory factor pressure relief valve, it will not bother the pump because the relief valve is there protecting the pump all the time. Thx Dan

This is exactly what I need. This will do in and out for the little back hoe!
any idea where to get one? Back hoe is small, don’t think it will break tractor at least hoping it won’t.
Thx wolfman!
