I don't, however this would be a great opportunity to add remote start. I've done it with one, and have the parts on the way to do it to my other one. It's $12 for the 3 relays and one fob. Hit the ignition toggle, hold the glowplug button for 10 seconds, then bump the starter until it starts. To turn it off, simply press the ignition again.

fatjay, you make that sound SO easy.

I'd wire that sucker up and when I hit the ignition button to kill the engine my wipers would probably start on my run around truck!

Speaking of wiring :D A buddy bought a new house. Was doing a walk through and found a light switch that didn't appear to go to anything. Was pretty confused with it. They flicked it a few times but couldn't locate where it went too.

They soon left the house and was checking around the outside of the place when the neighbor came running up to them. She was wondering if they saw any one strange in the area. Her over head door for the garage had started going bonkers about the same time they were throwing the light switch :D:D

Apparently the builder and electicrician for the neighborhood were fond of playing practical jokes on each other, but forgot to disconnect and remove the wire before the houses were completed.

Here's the part number for the one in the l185. Should be the same as yours. 37150-31820

Actually going back through your post, I missed a key identifier  I was thinking l1801 and not l1802. Sorry for the bad info

It's really not that hard. Take a multimeter and put the key to "ON". Measure what has voltage at the back of the key, that's your first relay. Same for glowplugs and same for start. Note, start will probably have 2 hots, it'll run the glowplugs while it's starting. I didn't want to do that for fear of overloading the relay, and it hasn't given me any problems to date.

He has to swap out the key switch anyway, so he's going to be in there whether he likes it or not. It should be fairly spacious though.

Thanks for the info. Remote start is not an option. We have special needs kids around the property and I am sure they "play" on the tractor so I can not have it to were anyone can just accidentally crank it because it will take off if one of them put it in gear ,etc. Will the switch that Darren Todd mentioned work?

If your switch has 3 run positions, with a separate glow plug/ starter switch, then yes it will work.

First position is run, second position is run with low beam. 3rd position is run with high beam.

Judging by the parts breakdown when I looked up the key switch, I believe it comes with a new key as well.

Here is a list of the grey market models and there north American equivalent:)

According to the link I posted earlier, your tractor is the equivalent to the L235. Here is the part number for the L235 key switch. 35260-31800

Looks like it comes all inclusive with the key and switch.

That setup is similar to both the b7200 and b8200 i have, glow-off-on-start. You could grab either of those and it should work.
