I recently picked up a V4491 rotary broom that I would like to use on my LX2610. I was wondering if any members made an adapter that I could steal the design of. The broom has a hydraulic motor that I was planning on running off of the third function. Any reason not to? I would like to use the K-connect as the broom needs 2 sets of hydraulic lines. I will post some pictures when I unload it from the back of the truck. This is a picture I found on the internet.

I had the driveshaft model of that sweeper, and it was always a pain keeping it from digging in. I fixed the problem by putting some wheels on it, and I set them just so the broom would skim along the surface. The sweeper would move up and down along the surface as the wheels kept it in constant contact with the ground. Yours uses the early connector, not the K connect. To convert it to a K connect style using Kubota parts will break the bank, so you will have to figure it out using a snowblower K connect as your pattern.

This model already has wheels. I was hoping for some input for making a mount as Kubota wants over $800 for just the mount. So therefore here is my idea.

Yes, it does need something across the top. Like to get it mostly finished and verify it works. Then the flatbar across the top might be a universal three point adapter. So it is usable year around.
