Just realized something…

Sitting on the back porch…avoiding work…sipping an afternoon beer…but doing some other things that need to be done… And I just realized that I still feel in my mind like I’m 30 years old!

47 years after turning 30, I’m starting to think I better reconsider my thought process!

Might be one of the lucky ones…to this point anyway…you never know!

Used to pick up hundred pound bags of cracked corn that we used to feed animals with and throw them on my shoulder and carry them where they needed to go to… that’s one difference that I’m aware of for sure!

I will be 77 in couple days, retired last October and enjoying every minute of it. I do know what you mean. My mind says you can do it you have done it before, latter my body says you idiot what were you thinking, but I am a slow learner and will do it again . As long as I can do, I will. I don't let my age decide what I can and can not do.

@chim - every time you bring up your daughter, I feel SO much admiration for you and the Mrs. for adopting that sweet child …..

No doubt getting old ain't for wimps. I don't know about yall but years ago I used to like the soreness that came from a hard day. Now it simply hurts. Can't make it without my Aleve
