The GR2000 doesn't have a rear differential. It has clutches in the rear axle that disengage drive to the inside rear wheel in a turn, controlled by cables that go to the front axle to sense steering angle. I theory it should reduce tire skidding in a turn while still maintaining at least three wheel drive. In practice? well, they don't make it anymore and I wouldn't buy one!

Oh it's not a bad tractor! It just wasn't one of the best ideas! The rear axles did give a fair amount of grief, but if well looked after and not used rough thay can give good service. And they DO turn real sharp!
