I'm not sure when it will be delivered they are starting to put it together. I'm pretty excited. I don't currently have a large amount of land, but I plan to fix some drainage issues, move a retaining wall and build a tractor/rv pole barn in the back with a gravel driveway. Once all that's done I'll begin building my barndaminium on a few acres I bought outside of town.

Part of me feels a little silly buying a tractor. I can't justify it, but luckily I don't have too. I guess it's my midlife crisis, my wife is supportive and my kids just wanted me to finally buy one and quit talking about it.

One of the best major purchases I've done. I have the same, unfortunately I only have a 48" box blade and 48" bush hog. I just sprung for the 3rd function valve and grapple, love it.

Not silly at all man. My dad laughed at me when he heard I got one, now he's asking when I'm getting a trailer so I can bring it over. I've recently bought a neglected house on 6 acres... my b2650 does in an hour what I can do in a week. Love my Kubota.

I'll need to get a box blade. I did get the 3rd function valve in anticipation of a grapple down the road. I'm thinking 5 ft Box blade and a ratchet rake will be my first purchases. I've got a lot of brush and sapplings to take out on my little rental house that I want to get cleaned up so I can get rid of it. (Don't let your wife talk you into being a landlord) I think the ratchet rake will make that easier. I also will need a trailer, but I can wait on it. The little rental is a little over a mile from my house.

My dad still has the small farm/ranch operation I grew up on, my brother and my nephew help him out a lot and get a ton of tractor time. I'm jealous, but I'll have my own now. They run strictly green tractors now, but when I was growing up my grandfather was always trading tractors I never knew what tractor I'd be spending my summer on so I grew to appreciate them all.

I like your thought of a 5' box blade, I would have liked to have a wider one that covered the track of my tractor.

A little advice, I would shop around a little and buy the heaviest one you can find. When doing loader work you'll appreciate all the weight you can have back there. My current land pride box blade is only like 270 lbs. The next heavier one in the same width is like 330 lbs. Weight is your friend on a "smaller" tractor like this.
