but nowadays the vast majority of car interiors are just boring black, with different color options not even available or extremely limited.
Yup. And I DETEST a black interior in a vehicle. Makes it feel like the inside of a tomb...and at my age I'll be in a tomb soon enough! Also makes it feel cramped, whereas a light colored interior feels open and airy. I was going to buy a new Jeep Wrangler but the only interior color available was black - just what I didn't need to show every bit of dust and dirt on the body panels. Not to mention that every place the desert sun hits it, it gets too hot to touch.

I've noticed that the high-end car models - like Lexus, Lincoln, Mercedes - interiors are a very light, creamy color - almost white. All the rest have to settle for basic black.

I grew up on a small farm. When we would butcher the chickens in the fall dad would just chop of the wings saying who the H would want to eat skin and bones but the dog.
Then years later someone convinced people skin and bones are delicious.
Not me.
And yes the gray primer or turd brown toyota has is just odd.
I see ford has a new 'anti matter blue' looks black But from over there it looks blue...kinda cool.
Use to be called "Packard Blue" , just a new name for the same thing. A little darker than Midnight Blue.

Happens to be my favorite vehicle color.

Way back when, when my wife was carrying our first daughter, all I saw was pregnant women...everywhere. After the daughter was born I saw maybe one pregnant women a year.

NOW AFTER READING this thread, all I am seeing is bland colored cars!

Thanks Skeets! 🤬🤣
