OK, don't flame the new guy. Just got my L3800 HSt with fel and woods bush hog. I'm selling my '06 2305 and if I remember right its a sub compact tractor. I did buy a frontier 4-5' rake to cleanup the front yard after storms. The manual says its a limited class one with class one pins. I checked with the kobota dealer about using it behind the L3800. He said it would fit no problem. Now I'm not running drag races with the rake and slow and steady is how I've used it in the past. Anyone see any problems using it with the L3800??. I could always do a rattle can job in orange if needed. Think I paid about $650 for it new and it is in excellent shape. Thanks,Frank

It'll work just fine. I use a 6' rake on my 3800 no problems. I might just change the colors if I was you!

I dont see any problems with it, nor does a paint job make it any less usefull. If the price is right buy it.

It will work fine, your probably just going to not be able to cover the width of the tires on the L3800.
It's almost always better to have slightly more tractor than implement, than it is to have more implement than tractor!

Glad to have on board Frank,
Pull her till the paint fades away!
I had a 6 footer and when turned at an angle it was about perfect.

My ballast box I bought off craig's list is made by John Deere ,,yup its green. I never thought about painting it , I figured it would be good for conversation, I have a lot of customers who own John Deere's , I've heard them say a thousand times. 'Well at least you bought the right ballast'....

Thanks for the info. Funny thing, after showing the wife the new toy at the dealership she comes up with this " with your breathing problems why didn't you get the cab option? Now I love my wife and she really wasn't too keen getting the L3800. Then she laid that one on me. The only quick thing I could come up with as "Money" Frank

Dayum!!!!!

Being in upstate New York, I wish the Mrs. would say "You'll get cold running the tractor with the snowblower."

Hasn't happened so far..........

A little Green won't hurt (and it should fit).
