jerking 3 pt hitch

I have an L 2800 that when you lift the three pt hitch up slowly it jerks the whole tractor. Pull fast and it goes up normally. Pressures are normal @ 2200 psi I think its in the control valve but need some advice.

Keep an eye on the thread Coachgeo listed. I will update it as things unfold with my L3800. I am going to visit the dealer today.

The real bad ones can be adjusted internally (top of the valve body has to come off). But the basic L will always have a slightly jerky hitch, only noticed when raised VERY SLOWLY.

If it just started doing it out of the blue, then something is wrong.
When was the filter and fluid changed last?
What kind and type of fluid and filter used?
