Hi,

Anybody got advice on where to jack up the kubota L245 to remove rear wheels?

I am worried about damaging underside casings etc. I plan to place axle stands with rubber pads under each rear axle once jacked up.

Many thanks

Adam

I would jack on the axle itself, and then place the stand next to the jack. Not sure there is any real good place to jack from other than the axle. Depending on what type of jack you are using, I would make sure the jack cannot move with something that will "bite" on the axle - like a piece of flat wood or something that keeps the contact point from moving.

Standing at the back of your tractor, in the center where the draw bar attaches down low, you can jack it up there. Then put your stands out near the axle hub for safety, but leave the jack in place in the center. Just let the jack down to the stands for stability. All three items remain in position and holding some weight.

Jacking up the tractor with the jack out to the hubs will not harm either!!

Hurting the tractor will be less likely then you getting hurt! It's a tough critter.:D
