Lets not make this about a political debate. Just want to share how I feel physically, nothing else. I started to feel like I was getting a cold last wendesday (for reference today is Monday), and on Thursday I felt sort of OK but knew that I was getting sick. On Friday I felt like I was getting run over by a bus and called my Dr. in the morning, and he got back to me later that day. We discussed it and I told him this was the second time for Covid (I tested on Thursday night) and he said as long as I felt that the symptoms were not too bad to just weather the course of the disease, and if it got bad over the weekend to give him a call and he would prescribe some medicine. On Frida;y I had to install the weight box on the Bota, and it went well without and problems even though I was kind of achey and not thinking clearly. I set the pin locks down, and then I couldn't find them, but that is an old age thing. Saturday I awoke to a drievawy full of snow, and I had to clear it, since it waasn't going to go away on its own. No one else around to operate the Kabota so I did it myself. Took me about 3 hours to get it cleared up and I came in and went to sleep. Diromg the time I was sleeping we got another 2" or so, so I had to go out and clean that up, and that took me a couple of hours. Then it came time to switch out the snowblower for the plow blade and scrape it down to bare pavement so it didn't freeze overnight. I had a hell of a time getting the blower off. Mirst I forgot to put the stand downat the back of the blower, and I was fighting with the quick disconnects not machine up the slot with the dot on the female ends. Finally ot the blower off the K connect, or so I thought. Nope, I forgot to release the engagement bar. Now I realized that I wasn't thinking clearly and I shouldn't be doing this, but I was too far into it to abandon the snowblower removal. I eventually got it to disconnect, but it was a struggle. Rolled the plow in front of the K connect and lifted it into place, and hooked up the hoses and started to move forward, only to watch the plow go sideways. I forgot to put the locks into the plow frame that hold it to the K connect. My mind was fried for sure. Good thing that the pow was easy to muscle around to get it badk onto the K connect. I was going to try to scrape the snow off the driveway when I realized that I was wondering all over the place. Put the Kubota back in the garage and come into the house to rest. Had dinner and went to sleep after wards. Woke up coughing and a really; bad headache. Took some Nyquel and went back to sleep, and now, here it is 3 AM and I am up trying to put my thoughts to paper, but I feel like a train rolled over me. A whole lot of words are underlined in red, which means that there are typing errors that I need to fix. I have been checking my blood pressure, and it is running higher than normal, coughing, runny nose, headache, it is horrible. I am not going to spell correct anything because this post is how I feel, not about anything else. I have to keep my eyes shut because the light is bothering me, and I can't smell anything. One of the questions that the Dr. asked, was did I have the vaccine. I have had 5 shots as each one came out. He told me that it should lessen the severity of the illness, but it doesn't prevent it. It is now 4 AM and I am coughing so much that I have awakened my wife who just came into the room to check on me. I am going to try to go to sleep now. Not only;y has it messed with me physically, but it is screwing with my mind. Just can't think clearly. I hope that by daybreak I will be felling better. Time will tell. Dusty
Sorry to hear you are sick w COVID19.

The shots do nothing to help. BC of my real job I am in & out of Gov Facilities w Govies often & have been supporting Gov activities as a contractor for decades.

We were mandated to get the vaccine. Once the vaccine mandates were removed … I stopped getting the shots.

GW University has a study (that I’m a small part of) documenting the long term effects of both the clot shot & Covid. I have 3 healthy friends all my age 45 - 55 who suddenly died from heart attacks. Myocarditis all 3 of them. Tied directly to the vaccine.

All DoD, Gov employees or Gov contractors were required to get the shots. Religious exemption was the only way to avoid the vaccine.

Ivermectin works. It’s truly an amazing drug.

My wife couldn’t get the shot bc she has chronic lyme disease. Her lyme doctor told her pt blank - not to get it as its long-term effects won’t be known for sometime. Lyme exacerbates everything & unknown risks were not worth the reward of still getting sick w Covid even after the vaccine.

Her recovery was much faster than mine … even w chronic lyme disease. It’s amazing, she’s been taking Ivermectin since the get go. I was astounded at how quickly she recovered.

Last time I tested pos for Covid I started Ivermectin immediately. I was at 85% in 24 hrs & 100% in 36 hrs - 48hrs. I was blown away (and puzzled) by how quickly I improved. Unbelievable.

I’ve now had Covid 5 times. Last 2 times, I took Ivermectin at the outset. Recovery was remarkably fast tracked & symptoms from Covid were all but mitigated.

Big Pharma & Gov knows this. That’s why they continue to push a vaccine that doesn’t work & causes myocarditis.

Except not as many people have had bad outcomes from the flu shot, and no people AFAIK were forced to take several jabs a year.

I find your post interesting, because my wife has lyme. Her doctor also told her not to get the shot and prescribed her ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine . When she finally came down sick with COVID, that doctor told her to start the ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, zinc, and D-3. She came out of it in 4 days and only had what I would classify as minor cold.

Was it because of the medicine, the version of COVID she got, her immune system? Not sure, but I can tell you I was thankful that whatever it was, it worked out well for her.

Not expressing political views … just stating facts from my experience & my wives experience w Covid. I do hope you get better - it’s not a pleasant experience.

Ivermectin isn’t political, just a drug that’s been successfully used worldwide for decades.

Sharing my experience that when I’ve taken it … I went from 7 - 14 day recovery to 1.5 - 3 day recovery. Perhaps others will benefit as well.

I was astounded bc I thought CDC guidance was for at risk folks (1 would think Lyme falls into this category) to get the vaccine. Her physician was adamant about her not getting the vaccine.

With chronic Lyme she recovered 4 times as fast as I did (I’m healthy but w the vaccines on board bc of mandates)

She still hasn’t had the shot, not 1 Covid vaccination & has contracted Covid only 2 times while I’ve got it 5 times w the vaccine.

Dr. Marty Makary the out of Johns Hopkins has interesting thoughts on all of this. Bright guy worth listening too

I will have to look him up and see what he has to say about it.

My wife has not had the shot at all. Total she has tested positive three times for it and each time 3-4 days mild cold/flu and she is back to normal.

I had the J&J shot (not the mRNA one) and I have yet to test positive, but have been sick four different time with 'COVID' like symptoms. The first time was the worst, severe like flu, every other time, a moderate cold/mild flu. Didn't test positive for anything, so the clinic assumed it was COVID.

It will be interesting to see in years to come what the science actually ends up showing what we did right and what we did wrong.

Wife and I had it over Christmas. She still has a cough and soreness. Her Dr says it could last up to two months. Mine was more like a sinus infection with no lingering side effects. Hope everyone who has it recovers quickly. For both of us it came on fast and was pretty much done in 5 days. I did not test negative until day 7. She tested negative day 5. One thing we did notice was different tests gave different results so they must be using different virus strains when they make them.

I am getting better slowly, and as some have said, it hangs around longer for some people than others. The last time I was over it in 4 days with no treatment. The greater the exposure, the more difficult to get rid of it. This is the second time my wife brought it home, but the first time she learned about the exposure the following day, so I quarantined myself away from her. This time she didn't test and had a very mild case, but gave it to me as a "full dose".

My wife and I are pure bloods because I believe in the Federal Government, just about as far as I can throw a M1 Abrams tank.

When we got sick, we went to the James Clinic, had an online consultation, and were Over-Nighted Hydroxychloroquine, Ivermectin, Zinc, D-3, Famotidine....and a host of other supplements.

My Pulse Ox went from 89 to 97, 3 hours after taking it, and we were feeling fine the next day.

Everyone should be allowed to do what you think is best, for your situation.

I sure wish I had known about the James Clinic before those F'ing quacks killed my dad.

I'm right there with you. It doesn't bother me being call all kinds of names because I don't follow the herd! If you really want to feel good about leadership watch some of the Senate hearings. One soon discovers the self serving unqualified appointees "leading" the alphabet soup groups.

i've had it 3 times. The first time was rough, both times after it was a headache (2nd time) and nothing (3rd time). Ok 3rd time I felt a little short of breath, went to dr and positive for covid. FTR I did not get any shots.

If you're otherwise healthy you'll be over it in 3-4 days.

it sucks, and I feel for ya. But don't let it get you down too much. Drink plenty of water and make sure you get enough rest.

GF is all up to date on shots but she still got it and it was rough for her. 102 for 4 days straight, hard to beathe, lost smell and taste, didn't eat anything and wouldn't listen to me about drinking fluids (especially water). She got dehydrated and ended up going to the doctor where they started her on iv to rehydrate. Once that was working she felt a lot better. 24 hours later she's back at the house, felt "mostly" fine but I let her sleep a lot rather than pestering her about dishes and laundry.

Why would you even consider pestering your girlfriend about dishes or laundry???? Can't you do them instead???? My wife and I tend to share those tasks.

because I do it 99.9% of the time. I get tired of doing it, or sometimes I just ain't got time.
