Was up in Fredrick, MD, today, at the JD dealer, there was a pull. A friend has a 50+ year old Allis CA, complete, with a 4 barrel, turbo, and 28" rubber... What a thrill to see that thing coming down the line, on the small sled, speed horn blowing like a freight train, as he passed the owner of the JD dealership, in the other lane, on the big sled... Wonder how many of today's tractors will make it to 50, and still be alive...

Don't that beat all....I love watching those guys pull. I got hooked going to truck/tractor pulls a while ago when my cousins were pulling. Queen Annes County has their fair in August and that's when the wife and I go to watch all of the pulls. We were just checking our schedules last night for the pull day down there.

Yeah those things are great...love the old power...hope my L2250 can make it to 50! Ha...we just had our first born this past weekend so hopefully he is ready to start watching the pulls!
